Some Foreigners Gathered and Caused Traffic Jam on Guang Yuan Xi Road

The Police of Yuexiu District, Guangzhou Reacted Properly and Legally

     (June 19)The police of Yuexiu District, Guangzhou is now circulating the notice to the press: On the afternoon, 19^th of June, some foreigners gathered on Guang Yuan Xi Road and caused traffic jam, the police of Yuexiu have resolved the incident properly and legally.

     At about 1 p.m., June 18, one foreigner took a motorcycle on Guang Yuan Xi Road. He disputed and fighted over the payment with the owner of the motocycle. The two people was then taken to Kuang Quan police station for further investigation. At about 5 p.m., the foreigner lost consciousness suddenly. Then the police called 120 to send the medical staff to the spot to rescue. However, the rescue failed and the man died. The police has been carrying out investigations according to law.

At about 3 p.m. of June 19, some foreigners gathered at the door of Kuang Quan police station one after another, and asked to know the cause of the death. In the duration, some people stood on the road and caused severe traffic jam on Guang Yuan Xi Road for one time. The police of Yuexiu District educated the foreigners on spot and persuaded them to leave. By 5 p.m., The gathered foreigners dispersed gradually, and the traffic returned to normal.

The police appeal: If any person has any demand, he should report it by normal means. All should abide by the law of China, no one should harm public interests or damage public order. The police will investigate and settle this case strictly by law, the details are under further investigation.
